Is it true child molesters and women beaters/killers are attacked and killed more in jail than other offenders?

it makes perfect sense... yes none of them are right but i understand that even some or most of the hardest criminals still know there position, women, and this is not meant in anyway to be offensive, are generally weaker, same with children. the mans position is to be a protector, its natural, so no matte how hard they are or how many men they have killed they still understand that someone that can do those things to women and children are to some degree worse then they are. i mean to mean no type of murder to any particulate gender or age SHOULD be held to a different level of punishment, but even still judging someone based on WHO they killed is still something that isn't fair because of our human nature. in prison tho they don't have courts so man can do what he pleases, if he can that is. i know im not a criminal but i would act the same way, and feel they same way. i think it should be punishable by death. life in prison is just a wast of taxpayer money on criminals.
