How can a white guy hate black men but date a black women?

I've been talking to this white guy for a few months now and i'm slowly starting to realize his hate for black men. He's never verbally said he hated black men, but I can tell by the comments he'll make here and there. He talks about Obama like a dog and sometimes we end up getting into fights over it. If there's a kidnapping or murder on the news and the suspect just so happens to be a black guy he'll say stuff like "Why doesnt that suprise me" I guess he umes that since i'm a black women this stuff may not offend me. Doesnt he realize that my father is black? and my uncles, cousins and grandfathers? I swear it feels like he has split personalites. But when he's not bashing black guys he's a sweetheart to me. He treats me like a little princess, tells me i'm pretty, calls me his baby and so on. Sometimes I think he forgets i'm black...........Maybe i'm just a fantasy he trying to fulfill. Also there's another thing that a need an answer to. He has a confederate flag bumper sticker on his car....what's up with that? How can a white guy hate black men but date a black women?
