What does he think about me?

This guy I met a few months ago has been texting me for a while he always seemed to like me and flirt with me when we talked. He only texts me like twice a week though and sometimes he will text me "hey (:" and then later on in our conversation he just won't answer. I don't know what he thinks about me...he is kind of a player but not really and we don't t we just talk/flirt normally. Any ideas about what he is thinking with me?
